1. Introduction
Homedata ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and API services.
2. Information we collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.

Technical Data: We automatically collect certain information including IP addresses, browser type, and device information.
3. How we use your information

- To process your transactions and manage your account
- To send you technical notices and support messages

4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who assist in operating our platform
- Professional advisers including lawyers and accountants
- Law enforcement when required by law
5. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure servers, and regular security assessments.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
7. Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against cross-site request forgery, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always active and do not require consent.
Analytics cookies. These are denied when the page first loads. The banner presents analytics and marketing as selected; accepting or continuing to scroll records that choice. You can manage the options before continuing and change them at any time. Declining does not limit your use of the site.
When you accept analytics cookies, we use:
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): measures how pages are used and records site sessions, including page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Sensitive content, such as API responses and address data in the developer playground, is masked before it leaves your browser and is never recorded. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): aggregate traffic measurement, such as which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Both act as processors on our behalf and may transfer data outside the UK under the safeguards described in section 4. If you decline, neither is loaded. If you later withdraw consent, the denied consent signal is applied to subsequent tracking.
First-party measurement cookies. When analytics is enabled, we set hd_vid (a random visitor identifier, 1 year) and hd_ft (the page and campaign that first brought you here, 30 days). We also use ab_user_id (a random identifier that keeps you on the same version of a page while we compare two versions, 30 days). None contains personal details or is shared with third parties. Withdrawing analytics removes the Homedata tracking cookies and excludes you from such comparisons.
You can also instruct your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site may then not work as intended.
8. Data retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
